cough DRY is a liquid herbal tincture that may help to relieve a dry, tickly, unproductive cough (lack of mucus) by soothing and cooling the mucosal membranes and reducing the irritation causing coughing fits.
Suggested Use: Take 5ml in approximately 30ml of water three times a day.
Ingredients: Marshmallow root glycetract (Althaea officinalis), Mullein (Verbascum thapsus), Plantain (Plantago major & lanceolata), Codonopsis (Codonopsis pilosula), Alcohol.
Contraindications: Not to be used during pregnancy or when breastfeeding.
Tinctures are alcohol-based preparations. Alcohol is generally a better solvent than water for extracting most plant constituents. It also acts as a preservative allowing the tincture to have a much longer shelf life. If you are avoiding alcohol entirely, then this tincture should be avoided.
